‘Fragments’ is one of the works in which Paolo da San Lorenzo undertakes his most radical exploration of the decomposition of form. Using a post-Cubist language, the artist breaks and reconstructs the figure into geometric segments, maintaining a coherent structure through the strength of the color palette: blues, greens and whites blend in a visual symphony pulsing with internal rhythm. The technique, rich in texture and engraved lines, lends depth and movement, while light seems to emerge from the pictorial layers, amplifying the poetic tension of the scene.
