In ‘Sempre con me’ (Always with me), Diego Santini takes us down a surreal road where love becomes essential baggage. A man driving a light blue van transports a huge red heart, a universal symbol of feeling and devotion. The bright turquoise background and stylised green trees create a lively and carefree colour palette, typical of the artist's fairy-tale language. The work evokes the silent strength with which we choose to carry love wherever we go, even when it seems cumbersome.
