A village that seems to have lost all sense of certainty, with buildings that lean, draw closer together and seek new balances. Brandes’s architecture almost takes on a human character, as if there were no longer any certainty and each building held a different story. The intense pink of the landscape softens this apparent instability, creating a vision in which fragility and lightness coexist. Even what appears immobile and solid seems capable of changing at any moment.
