Valeria Patrizi's research is expressed through a mixed technique in which mark, glaze and material coexist in a calibrated balance. Colour, applied in fluid layers and controlled drips, constructs the figure by subtraction, allowing the body to emerge from the pictorial surface.

The deep blue of the coat becomes a field of experimentation: abrasions, transparencies and graphic interventions interrupt the formal continuity, transforming the garment into a narrative space. The figure, essential and suspended, bears witness to a pictorial process in which the gesture remains visible and the material preserves the memory of the act of creation.
