36_The quiet 12

With ‘The Quiet 12’, Casetti explores the idea of tranquillity through a delicate play of colours and textures. The central figure, with soft, shaded strokes, is surrounded by a shower of bright colours such as deep red and yellow, which mingle with the enamel drops, creating an almost abstract feeling of movement. The combination of turpentine and water-based enamels allows the canvas to alternate between matt and shiny surfaces, generating depth effects that seem to bring calm and meditation to life. The textures, ranging from the harsh sheen of the drops to a more delicate softness, give the work a sensorial quality, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the silence that the artist has skilfully created.
