The work captures the explosion of creativity and emotions that spring from the central figure. Casetti, using turpentine-based and water-based enamels, creates a play of textures that alternates between glossy and matte surfaces. The face, delicately sketched in soft tones of yellow, ochre and sienna, seems to be the centre of an explosion spreading in all directions. The colour palette is emphasised by the glossy drops and clean background, creating a contrast that stimulates the imagination and emotion. In this work, Alessandro Casetti plays with the tension between the central subject and the resulting explosion of colours. The face, a profile sketched in shades of beige and pale pink, emerges delicately from a swirl of coloured enamels that fade from blue to yellow, green to red. The dripping technique, which combines turpentine-based and water-based enamels, creates a contrast between the glossy surfaces and the softer, more translucent ones. The light reflected by the denser drops adds an almost three-dimensional dimension, while the softer areas suggest a sense of inner movement.
