In this work, Casetti plays with the brightness and fluidity of colours. The face is outlined with soft, water-based enamels, while the explosion of colours emerging from the head is rendered with turpentine-based enamels, which provide shine and contrast. The movement of the colours, which expand on the canvas in a dance of warm and cold tones, creates a feeling of disintegration and transformation. The shiny surfaces of the turpentine-based enamels and the more opaque water-based areas dialogue with each other, creating a composition that seems to narrate the evolution of thoughts and emotions.
