In this medium-sized composition, Luca Bellandi depicts on canvas a small group of parrots set against a riot of flowers and colours. The birds emerge from textured, gestural brushstrokes, whilst splashes and drips criss-cross the blue background. Shades of orange, green, pink and turquoise intertwine in a luminous and instinctive balance, bringing to life an imaginary garden brimming with energy.
